TESDA TVET Trainers' Methodology Level 1 (TM-1)

Passing a TESDA TVET Trainers Methodology Level 1 (TM-1) is one of the requirements that a prospective TVET Trainer needs to undergo to become a certified TVET Trainer.

This requirement however, would require a prospective TVET Trainer to undergo a TM-1 training that would take more or less 22 days to finish.

Within this training days, a trainee will be required to submit portfolio documents, undergo written examinations and perform demonstrations to qualify to undergo the National TVET Assessment.

Eventually, one of the most common problems that these prospective TVET Trainer encounters while undergoing TM-1 training is the development of the required portfolio which is a prerequisite before one can apply for TM-1 National Assessment

Having been a TM-1 facilitator since 2013, it has now become apparent that there is a need for me to write down a simple guide that will help prospective trainees in the development of their portfolio that would allow them to undergo National Assessment for Trainer's Methodology Level 1.
